What's the difference between B&W Document and Vibrant Color?+
B&W Document converts to grayscale and boosts contrast for a crisp, scanned-page look, ideal for text-heavy pages. Vibrant Color keeps the original colors and boosts saturation and contrast, which suits photos, colored diagrams, or whiteboards where color carries information.
Will this work on a photo taken at a steep angle?+
Yes — that's exactly what perspective correction is for. As long as all four corners of the document are visible somewhere in the frame, dragging the handles onto them will flatten even a fairly extreme angle.
Why does the straightened image sometimes look slightly different in size than my original photo?+
The output dimensions are computed from the quadrilateral you selected — specifically, the longer of each pair of opposite edges — so the result reflects the document's own proportions rather than the original photo's frame.
Can I scan a multi-page document?+
Each pass through the tool handles one page. For a multi-page document, scan each page individually and download each as its own PDF, or use the Image to PDF tool afterward to combine several exported pages into one file.
Is the PDF export searchable text, like OCR?+
